Business process flow included the following stakeholders:

– Client business team
– Third-party activations team
– End users

The solution was expected to demonstrate mobile wallet capabilities for person-to-person and person-to-bank money transfers. The solution was desired to be a scaled down version of the mobile wallet services offered by the company with limited capabilities as required for demo by activations team

ASCENT helped the client with a native Android app and web-dashboard.

Activations team coordinated efforts to install the app on Android phones of target customers in Mumbai and their family members in eastern UP. Target customers in Mumbai were encouraged to add funds to their digital wallets and transfer the same to their relatives in Eastern UP who also had the app. Relatives in eastern UP could then use those funds to buy a few daily essentials from earmarked shops.

The second workflow helped target customers in Mumbai to directly transfer funds to bank accounts of their relatives/family members in Eastern UP.
